Hi,

Just want to post a curious question......let's say a motion is detected on the camera that
triggers BI to open up a BVR file to capture the video recording.

While BI is still recording, suddenly a power failure occurs.

I have no UPS running when power failure occurs.

After power is restored, and BI start over again, what happen to the BVR file?
1) The BVR file is saved into the hard disk, right up to the instance when power failure occurs?
2) or The BVR file is NOT saved and all recording prior the power failure is lost?

I wanted to transfer BVR file to another recording hard disk for the purpose of upgrading
the storage capacity. When BI server is not running, how come I cannot
move the bvr file to another hard disk? It always in Windows transfer error.

Thank you.

yes the file will still be readable...you can test this yourself...
transferring wont work while the file is being written to.
