IDMSS push to iPhone.

Hello.
I own Mac computers. So I want to use smart pss for my security cameras. I’m not going to use a nvr. Going to store it to a local hardrive. Do I need a nvr and paid iDMSS app to have the option to push to my device ? Or just the paid iDMSS.

I'm a mac user as well and I tried Smart PPS and there is no comparison to Blue Iris. Save yourself a lot of time and frustration and just get a cheap windows box and use Blue Iris. The Blue Iris app running on an iPhone is second to none!

Thanks for input. I’m trying Sighthound now. It seems good. Not a lot of option. Basic and it’s working good. Granted $250 is high for the license. The iPhone app works, push alerts seems reliable. I may try SecuritySpy before I give in and run blue iris. I’ve got i3 8350k I can Dedicate to Windows 10.

do you get these push notifications in Main or Sub Stream? For some reasons I always get them in Main stream and i hate it as it's super slow...need to change it to Sub. Any idea how?>
