Hi, I am running BI and have tried to mask as much as I can of the shadow problem area caused by a neighbor's untrimmed tree and bougainvillea vines moving with the wind to avoid unintended triggers of video capture, but part of the area is in the hot zone.

Any ideas. I will try going to a 6mm lens from a 3.6mm, but I would like suggestions on sensitivity and contrast settings. Thanks.

Also lately, BI stopped all of a sudden recording direct to disk video capture of a Dahua DFW 2100 camera. It sends encoded video as an alert but the direct to disk file is black and stops at 3 seconds even though the file is longer.

If you switch to "Color only" under motion/trigger settings, it helps.
