i found a refurbished HP Compaq 6200 Pro with 4 gb ram (i want to upgrade to 8 gb) and a i5-2400. i actually run 8 ip cam 2 megapixel. Is this enought?

Yes, but note that if you later use cameras with higher resolution, the intel HD in that system will not support hardware acceleration for more than 1080p
