I currently am testing BI with a Hikvision 2CD2012-I with firmware 5.4.5. It's on an Intel i5-2400, with Intel HD Graphics 2000. That's the only graphics card in the system. When I enable hardware acceleration, I just get a "no signal" from the camera.

64-bit Windows 7, latest drivers from Intel's website. What might I be missing? Or is this processor not capable of hardware accel.?

There could be 3 reasons for this...
1. 2nd generation Intel processors can only provide Hardware acceleration for 1080P or less...
2. With Windows 7 if you're running Blue Iris as a service Hardware acceleration won't work.... So either disable the service or install Windows 10..
3. If you are using H. 265 it won't work with your processor.... Switch to H. 264

I went ahead and upgraded the box to Windows 10, and hardware acceleration is working now - although with one camera it doesn't seem to make much difference in CPU usage. Thanks!
