In BI, did you put in the cam's IP, username/password and click on the "Find/Inspect" button ?

this is using the axis path is this enough info

Specs and user manual here say it is ONVIF compatible and ONVIF is enabled when you create a user.

Can you run ODM and get the RTSP URL down at the bottom of the screen when you put in cam's username and password, then open "Live Video" ?

It should be something like:

Code:
 rtsp:/<ip>/axis-media/media.amp

Of course, TWO "/" after "rtsp: " ; forum software won't allow it

OK, I understand that you can log into the cam's webGUI with a browser and see video "Live" but...what do you mean by "... I can see it....in BI menu with path" ?

EDIT: please post a screen shot of BI's "Camera Settings" => "Video" tab => "Configure" button

Thanks for the help I found that If I load B.I. 4 Everything works but if I switch to B.I. 5 I can't load the axis p3364 even though the settings are the same. I have 2 other cams that work on B.I.5

OK, I guess it's too late for that screenshot. :blankstare:

Where the heck did ":9083" come from on the end of the IP address? The default RTSP port for that cam is 554, according to the specs, try deleting all but the IP address up top, no need for a colon and port.
