I can't install iVMS on my computer????

Yes, I tried all of that. I finally got it to got but had to use the Revo Uninstaller installer. It worked great. Now, I'm figuring out how to get it all to work together. I think I'm going to use PC's with storage on one that runs all the time and client on another.
I have a Synology NAS 1010+ with SS 7.1 but I can't get any of my browsers to view it. It recorded to my NAS fine but live view is out of the question at this point until I learn some more about this stuff.
I'm a noobie to surveillance and there is a lot to learn. So much, I have a headache right now and my eyes are tired and sore from so much reading and watching videos. I really don't know the best solution. I thought the SS from Synology would be it but not the case. Any suggestions?
