I can't enable SMD on dahua xvr

I have a dahua xver which has 4 coaxial cameras and 2 IP cameras, all of which are dahua product, the problem is I can't activate smart motion detection on the cameras
it says ip channels and ai functions don't work together.
any work around this problem?

Once you add IP cameras, AI is not available for the analog cameras...... AI (SMD is considered AI) will/should work on the IP cams

okay so how do I configure the regular motion detection
are the red squares considered the interest region? or is it the other way around. also what's the correct sensitivity and threshold for human detection.

Yes the red squares indicate area of detection.

I cant tell you the sensitivity settings as they are different for every scene. Start with 80 and threshold of 15
