Huisun Mini PTZ -> PTZ settings in blue iris?

Which PTZ protocol does the Huisun Mini PTZ use in blue iris? I selected Huisun for the camera type, there was only one camera option in there, the default PTZ protocol was OXML, that doesn't work, also tried sony and hikvision protocols and camera settings. Get video but not PTZ control.

It does do its little PTZ startup dance successfully, so I know it has power. I can also control PTZ through the web interface type.

It is model number DM-SCB405IP-V03-E

Can't seem to determine how to find the firmware anywhere, not listed in SADP or the web interface.

hm, after further experience with my new V2, it seems BI is unable to call/access the presets. I can manually pan/tilt/zoom around, but clicking preset button no workie and i must do it from the cam's web UI. I'm sure there's some setting to make that work...

Log in with your web interface and see what ports it is using. On two of mine, they use different ports.

Was this ever resolved? I seem to be having the same issue. I do not see any port specified in the web interface for the PTZ function. PTZ operates in the web interface. I must be missing a setting somewhere.

On my V2 I have to use Hikvision/Abus/Swann and under Options check Reverse up/down. Presets will then work. On my V1 it is OXML.

Are you specifying a different port? The PTZ works in Web interface and in Onvif device manager but not in BI. My camera is also the Imporx v2. Not sure that makes any difference.

I actually check the use another ip/port but specify the same port used for video.

Thanks! I'll try that when I get home. I know it auto-filled with 37777. I have tried it both checked and unchecked but not with 554.

Got mine sorted. Thanx Guys!

I found that for my v2, both OXML and Hikvision/Abus/Swann protocols work, but the latter requires checking 'reverse up/down'.
Did not have to change the port form the default :80.

My problem was that the preset names in BI didn't match what the camera wanted.

The cam's UI displays them as 'Preset 1', 'Preset 2', etc.
My BI setup for this cam had 'preset_1', 'preset_2', etc (probably from some previous fiddling).
Tried 'Preset 1', 'Preset 2', etc just like the cam's UI, but no-go.

When I changed the names to simply '1', '2', etc (the BI defaults?), the presets are now working in BI.

I have a V2 that uses different ports. Try RTSP port 34567 & Discovery 8999, camera type ANRAN, PTZ Control IPC/CantonK.

That's a no-go, but thanks. According to the seller, the only ports the camera uses is 80, 8000 and 554.

Okay, got mine working. I think it was a setting in the camera's (via web interface) security section. I did have to use the Hik/Abus/Swann protocol. And to get the presets to work, I did have to change the BI name to 1, 2, 3 etc., but did not have to check the reverse up/dn button. I wonder if the Huisun and Imporx are using the same firmware......

my Imporx v2 firmware info:

Program VersionV1.0.2 Build 201512161014
Control Version MiniPtz_V1.0.2_build201512011507
Web Page Version1.1.1 Build 20151216
Plugin Version1.0.3.39

perhaps newer versions fixed the up/down reversal?...

I'll have to see whether I need it checked once I get it mounted. I'll check my FW version when I get home.

Re: Huisun Mini PTZ -> PTZ settings in blue iris?

I may still need to do that. I probably spoke too soon. I haven't mounted mine yet so I can't say if the orientation is correct or not. 60-70 degree weather this week so hopefully I can find an extra hour to install it.
