How to install additional external IR?

I am looking to install additional IR but want to make the wiring as hidden as possible. How have you don it? My leading thought is to run it under the eve and paint the wire to make it blend as much as possible.

How have you done it? do you run it all back to a central location?
you can see from the picture that I have attic access for some of the top of the house. But then the garage I'd probably run through a hole into the garage.

could I just put stuff at the top of the house with enough power to not put anything along the bottom eve?

It depends on the type of illuminator you're using. The voltage used varies from 120VAC to 12VDC. There are different considerations for each and a careless install of any of it could lead to sparks literally flying.

For longer distances, you'd need a more focused illuminator.
