I'm thinking about running some burial cable in the ground, but I'm not sure how people get the cables into the house.

Could you help share some photos of how your cables get into your house from the ground trench? My other cameras are under the soffit, so go right into the attic.

I'm trying to avoid running EMT all the way up the exterior wall and prefer going in closer to the ground. Slab foundation with no crawl space under the house.

Slab on grade here, I mounted a box on my brick and drilled a hole through into the inside where I mounted a box, and then went up the wall intel the attic

The liquid tight conduit just goes about 5 inches into the ground where it then is just cables, I did that so I don't ever hit it with a trimmer or something

If you happen to be near Houston, feel free to borrow my Drill and bit

Thank you, this is very helpful. I think one of my walls is plaster vs. drywall, but I might be able to go into the garage wall and then up into the attic.

Very kind of you to offer. I used to live in the medical center area in Houston, but have since moved.
