Hikvision vs dauha low light series camera $?

Hey guys,

How do the hik/dauha low light cams compare?

The dauha starlight I'm looking at is the 5231. I'm looking at 4 of them plus the NVR at around 800$ usd.

Are the hik a better value?

What would be the equivalent hik setup cost? What hik model numbers would you recommend?

I have a dahua starlight turret coming in the mail, and I already have some of the Hikvision low lights. I'll do a video once they arrive.

I think it is pretty much universally agreed upon that the Dauha's are better low-light cameras than the Hikvisions.

I do not have the Hikvision, but I would find it pretty challenging to be better than the Dahua starlight turrets from Andy. Unless you have a huge space to cover with the cameras, the ir should cover most everything. Caught a kitten in my garden at 3am this morning.

I have both. I will say they are about equal. I do have Hikvision NVR's.
