Hikvision turret cam out of focus?

Hello,

I recently bought my second 8mp turret (DS-2CD2385FWD-I). Really pleased with the first one, which is a 6mm. This second one is a 2.8mm. It's great on the whole left side of the picture, which is tack-sharp in focus, but basically the whole right side of the picture is slightly out of focus. Is this normal? Or is it a factory issue? Is it possible to fix/adjust the focus without completely ripping the whole camera apart?

send it back or take it apart, if you take it apart you need to use a hair blower or heat gun melt the glue between lens and body. I have a few of them out of focus. send them back next week.

Thanks for the reply. I really can't be assed sending it back to China, so it looks like I'll need to take it apart! While I am there, I might look at changing it to a 4mm from a 2.8mm. The 2.8mm is silly wide. Thanks!
