Hikvision PTZ - Cam will not track

Just hookedup a new DS-2DE4A425IW-DE PTZ camera to my NVR which is running 4 other standard HIK cams. The new cam activated with plug and play, displays as it should, playsback as it should, but does not track moving objects.
I have configured the ptz settings in "smart tracking" to "Enable Smart Tracking", so am stumped as to why the tracking does not follow objects.
Any ideas?

From my testing the new PTZ's have issues due to the new chipset inside. They have tried to modify the firmware to try to get it working but so far it doesn't seem to work. Keep looking on Hikvision's website for new firmwares in case they release an update that may finally get it working.

I found that the issue I had related to both having Smart Event and Basic Event activated. Once I disabled Basic Event, then set the Smart Event to Intrusion Detection as active, the tracking commenced.

Good day, according to my Knowledge only the 2DF series has smart track.

i just had lockup on your device and the site says it does not please see attached image. I have highlighted in red where "Smart Tracking" would be listed in red..

i just had a relook on DS-2DE4A425IW-DE - IP PTZ Cameras - Hikvision and now where is the word TRACK either you have listed the wrong model or have a special edition, please let us know
