Hikvision on ebay

Good day,

I have noticed that ebay is getting empty from hikvision cams that come from china.
Guess this is because of hikvision.
Is there a way around, to buy more?
The sellers that i normally buy from give no info.

I reached out to Andy for this very reason but he said he cannot sell Hikvision to the US either. He mentioned perhaps opening a company in the US to resume Hikvision sales that way.

Hikvision stop all the Chinese distributor's selling from China to US now, so future their cams price will be 2-3 times higher than the current ones.

Those are the last stocks from Chinese sellers, Trump add 25% tax on Chinese items, Hikvision and dahua Share Drop around 30-40% at our Stock market. So this will be a little crazy.Now Most Chinese company are worry about the future business with USA. 25% tariff and local tax 25% and other costs, so hard to play the ball there if sell cheap .

For what we have researched and the gov people we have spoke with, the 25% tariff does not impact tariff codes for video surveillance products. The most recent proposed 10% (not active yet) does impact some video surveillance (related US Tariffs Hit China Video Surveillance)

US customs already reject some shipment via DHL ship to Amazon warehouse directly now, so all have to ship to local company and then ship to Amazon warehouse. The shipment from China to end users still no prblem at all. 25% for cams still not impact right now, but Trump will do 200 billion USD, they will be on the list.

Yes, agreed about the 200 billion USD one. According to the official US government notice, those will be 10%.

Btw, why is US customs rejects shipments? What reason are they giving?

50% of Amazon sellers are From China, and they no US company there, i think this is to protect the local sellers.

Shipment to US , the receiver is not US company or US people. Amazon warehouse as a 3rd party warehouse, and they will not care about any tax. Main issue is the tax issue.
