Hi!
I have a HikVision NVR DS-7608NI-SE/P (firmware V3.0.10 build 141125) w. 5 Hikvision outdoor cams. I am considering adding a 6th camera; more specifically a Hikvision DS-2DE2A404IW-DE3 2.8 - 12mm PTZ.
I am aware that my NVR only supports H.264 (camera can encode w. H.265/H.265+/H.264/H.264+), and I am also aware that I have to keep inside my 40 Mb/s NVR bandwidth (shouldn't be a problem).
I have heard that there might be a problem with the NVR not being able to work with the camera (firmware issues). Anyone with any experience? Will all functions (PTZ, audio) be available to control from the NVR?

PS! Trivial solution is to "just" buy a new NVR, but I would definitely prefer avoiding to throw another $200 after this upgrade project, if possible...!
