Hikvision, non-AcuSense, NI-I2 and NI-I4 NVRs EOL?

I was looking on the UK Hikvision site and under the NVR section it is showing that the various Pro Series, without AcuSense, NI-I2 and NI-I4 devices are all EOL.

I wonder if a new range is due to be introduced or if they intend to push their NXI AcuSense models?

I was intending to get a DS-7608NI-I2 but I’m kind of glad I didn’t just yet until I find out what’s actually going on with the discontinued models.

I don't show those models being EOL on the Hikvision USA website. With that being said, manufacturers are using different chipsets on a lot of those models due to the chip shortage. They will have the same features but end up being a little slower. If you click into the page for the model number it should show you which model is the replacement.

DS7xxxNI- Ix series are going to be replaced by NXI series in time.
For now both series are co-exist since there are lot of special features which are supported only from NI series (supported by customized firmware).
The UK EOL indication is a result by distribution channel choice.
