Hikvision metadata setting missing

Hello, i have an Hikvision ds-2cd2346g2-i and i would need metadata access because i am working on an home automation project.
The issue is that the "Metadata Settings" in the "Configuration" → "System" is completly missing,why is that?

The specs for your camera here state that it is conformant to ONVIF profiles S, G and T.

The ONVIF specifications for the several ONVIF profiles state that Profile M seems to be the required profile for "Metadata and events for analytics applications". Perhaps that is why the option does not appear in the camera's configuration webGUI. Also, if you read the specs for Profiles S, G and T they do not seem suitable for your need but this is just my opinion. More detailed info for Profile M here.

I do not have experience in this arena but am merely passing on some information I located. Perhaps someone else can chime in that is familiar with it, especially as it pertains to home automation.
