hikvision ivms 4200 question.

hello all.
I have hikvision ivms 4200 installed on a windows PC, 6 4MP Hikvision DS-2CD2342WD-I-6MM cameras.

I configured ivms4200 to use the sub stream, when viewing the cameras in multi view mode Ivsm4200 uses the sub stream but when I do a single view ( enlarge the screen to a single camera ) ivms4200 uses the main stream.
I try many things but it always uses the main stream when I double click any camera to enlarge the view.


any ideas as to what could I be doing wrong?

Try the below steps to make it permanent:

Modifying the Group/Camera

Steps:

1. Select the group/camera from the group list on the Import page.

Move the mouse to the camera/group and click , or double-click the group/camera name to

open Modify Group/Camera dialog box.

2. Edit the group/camera information, including the group/camera name, the stream type, etc.

Video Stream : Select the stream as sub stream for the live view or playback of the camera as desired.

Rotate Type: Select the rotate type for the live view or playback of the camera as desired.

Protocol Type: Select the transmission protocol for the camera.

3. Click OK to save the new settings.

You can also double click the encoding channel on the Resource list in the Group Management

interface after encoding channels encoded, or select the encoding channel and click to

open the Modify Camera dialog box.
