Hikvision expert motion detect settings

I have a DS-2CD2032-I with firmware 5.2, under expert settings, there are two settings sensitivity and proportion of area.

could anyone give a technical description of what they do?

Very interested in this as well. As I've noted on previous threads, I'd much rather see Hik pursue more accurate motion detection (with less false positives) than higher resolution and/or night performance at this point. Looks like they are definitely working on it.
