HikVision DS - 7608NI-E2 with Chinese hacked cameras (DS-2CD2132F-IS)

Hi,

I purchased the DS - 7608NI-E2 from Amazon. It arrived and works fine. I understand this is the North American version (came with 2 pin american plug). I also ordered two non updateable multi language DS-2CD2132F-IS from AliExpress (XinRay). The cameras haven't arrived yet but I'm a worried that they won't work with the NVR I've purchased. If this is the case what steps can I take?

you can re-flash the firmware with most cams and DVRs With ENGWISH !

So I shouldn't worry too much about the whole "language mismatch" thing when trying to access a camera from a NVR when the regions aren't the same?

If they are indeed hacked by the Chinese then they should already be English and other languages and work fine with your NVR.

It's only when you start changing the firmware on the camera to non hacked versions things get more complicated.

If you receive a Language mismatch, you can try adding the camera as ONVIF
