(Solved) Hikvision DS-7608NI-E2 troubles ??
Hi, I'm encountering some ... strange issues, most probably because I'm using trying with a couple of 4Mp cameras with a NVR which is declared for 3 or 5 MP cameras ..
Did some tests with the stock firmware, and after having upgraded the NVR as well as the network cameras.
The NVR, is , as in the title, the DS-7608NI-E2, the cameras are one DS-2CD2042WD-I and one DS-2CD2142FWD-I(W)(S).
The NVR had, as previous fw, the 3.4.0, upgraded to 3.4.2, whereas the cameras were with 5.3.6, both cameras upgraded to 5.3.8.
What happens ..... camera on local lan, I'm able to access the camera via web browser, via iVMS 4200 (2.4.1.3) and via iVMS 4500 HD (on S5 mini), on IE and iVMS 4200 fluently at max resolution (2588x1520), on the iVMS 4500 HD with the sub-stream......
Same settings but camera behind the NVR .... if I access directly the NVR via browser, there is no live stream, if I access the camera via NVR on port 65001, live stream is ok, if I access the NVR via the iVMS 4200, there is no live stream (but are visible all the recordings ...),
Same settings but camera behind the NVR .... if I access directly the NVR via browser, there is no live stream, if I access the camera via NVR on port 65001, live stream is ok, if I access the NVR via the iVMS 4200, there is no live stream (but are visible all the recordings ...), If I change the main stream from 2588x1520 to 1920x1080, all issues, regarding the main-stream, vanish and finally If I access the NVR via the iVMS 4500 HD (sub-stream 640x480), the frame rate is one frame every 5 seconds (not 5 FPS, I mean just one frames every 5 sec) , but if I change the sub- strean from 640x480 to 320X240, the frame rate is ok (10 FPS or even more,if I increase that value) ....
Does anybody faced the same 'issues' with 4 MP cameras on this NVR ? I could also buy some 3MP cameras (as DS-2CD2032-I) and install this system in another location, if with this camera the NVR works well at 3MP .....
For the 4 MP cameras, tomorrow is arriving a DS-7608NI-I2/8P, I believe (hope) that it will work better ....
Thanks
Cheers,
jonatha
