Hi,
How i check if the nvr Hikvision DS-7608NI-E2/8P have incoming bandwidth 50Mb or like the new one 80Mb?
Thanks.

In my case shows:
Local menu -> Maintenance ->Net Detect -> Network stat:
IP camera: 5 Mbps (I have only one camera connected).
Net receive idle: 75 Mbps
Obviously total incoming budget is 80 Mbps.

DS-7608NI-E2/8P

Bugger. I just checked mine with 2 cameras running taking up 13mbps and Net Receive Idle is 37mbps, so that means I got a 50mbps model.

I just got it up and running today it has 3.0.10 firmware.

Does this mean there are two different versions of the 7608NI-E2 with a faster processor? or is it more a more efficient firmware or the like?

If your firmware version still has telnet enabled, you can check the processor like so:
Having the same fast processor as the 16ch version does give you some good performance.
Code:
dvrdvs login: root
Password:

BusyBox v1.16.1 (2014-05-19 09:41:10 CST) built-in shell (ash)
Enter 'help' for a list of built-in commands.

Mine has the same information listed as above for cpu info.

For the getHardInfo obviously mines different being a 7608NI-e2 so 8 decode channels and etc.

So you have the same dual-core 2GHz processor in the 8ch NVR as is used in the 16ch. Bet you wondered why it was so responsive ...

Another question. What version firmware brings up the incoming bandwidth?
I'm sorry, I don't know which version changed that. I expect certain others will comment.

It would appear so.

Good to hear the hardware is the same and just firmware, I would have hated spending more money for the NI model where I could have gotten a 7608N which the seller says has 80mbps incoming capacity but again came with 3.3.2 firmware.

I might have to hold back on the upgrade, as I hear there are a few issues with 3.3.2, but not sure if 3.3.4 has fixed those issues.
