hikvision DS-2CD2432F-I Configuration file

Hey
i'm trying to download and modify the configuration file for this specific Cam but when i download the file it has no type of format so i can't open and modify
all i get is configuration instead of for example configuration.txt or .conf ...
can someone help me with that ?
My main goal is to increase the maximum Recorded file size from 1GB to 5GB and the way it names the recorded videos

You could try the configurator in Hikvision Tools. I think that uses an .xml config file that can be imported/exported per camera.

I doubt it will help though as the things you want would likely be application based and not subject to configuration file parameters (I could be wrong though).

i tried using the configuration tool there is no parameters i could change for those 2 all i get in the conf.bin file is Ds‹UDs‹UDs‹UDs‹UDs‹UDs‹UDs‹UDs‹UDs‹UDs‹UDs‹UDs‹UDs‹UDs‹UDs‹UDs‹UDs‹UDs‹UDs‹UDs‹ something along that
i want to change the default name of the recorded file and it's max size

That's a binary configuration export, whereas I know there's a .xml based batch configurator that is editable in a text editor.

It was a little while ago I played with it - but I know it was in the Hikvision Tools program.
