First time newb here. I recently bought a Swann NVR kit from Sam's Club that came with a Swann NVR8-7300 and a couple NHD-815 cams. I read that Hikvisions cams could potentially work with Swann NVRs and decided to buy first, ask questions later. Plugging the Hikvision cam into the Swann NVR didn't bring anything up. I could log into the Hikvision camera when connected directly to my router, but can't figure out how to get it to show up on the Swann NVR. Help!?!

@aaydemi Welcome to the forum...unfortunately the 8300 series NVR and the 815 cameras are not directly interchangeable with hikvision like the 7200 series and 820/825 cameras...
If the NVR allows you to add other ip cameras/onvif cameras you may be able to add this camera manually...I believe the media port on the 815 is 9000 (not 8000 like the hikvisions) and the http port 85 (not 80 like the hikvisions)...I have never used or seen the 815 though...
