Hello

My hikvision 7604ni-se/p is in reboot loop after the power was cut off.
On the start it beeps 2 times and then it will start but when the cams are online and see them on the screen the nvr reboots the and again and again in loop.

I have seen and read something about refashioned the nvr with the pc on ethernet.

Must it be a cross cable or just a normal.
Also I can't find software,I have seen on YouTube someone who did It with hiktool 4channel but I can't find it.

So can anybody tell me what to do.

Do you have a saved copy of the device configuration?
If so, and you can get into the interface for long enough, maybe try resetting to factory defaults in case a corrupt configuration is the cause.
be aware, though, that sometimes resetting to defaults can affect the device language, if it was set by the configuration file.

Your next option then is to try the Hikvision tftp updater tool.

Not the firmware - just the tools.
You will also need the digicap.dav specific to your NVR, maybe that from the link above - http://www.hikvisioneurope.com/porta...0NI-V%28VP%29/
And best to wire the PC and the NVR direct into your switch / router instead of connecting them directly.
