Hikvision 4K cube Wi Fi vs Q-See 4K cube Wi Fi

Hi there. I was doing a lot of research and purchased two 4K IP Wi Fi camera’s.

1. Hikvision DS-2CD2442FWD-IW 4MP 2.8mm
2. Q-See 4K WI-FI CUBE CAMERA (QCW4K1MCW16)

I'm not sure why Hikvision camera’s gets so much attention. I put two cameras (Q-See and Hikvision) next to each other to compare video and picture quality. There’s a huge difference in quality. I personally think the Hikvision is far behind the Q-See one. I’m attaching the pictures which were taken by me at the same time and you be the judge.

FYI, I didn’t change size of the images. The 'Camera 01' on picture is the Hikvision one.

The Hikvision is 4MP (2K) vs Q-See 4K (8MP) is one difference.

I've seen quite a bit of confusion in the description of security camera kits sold during the recent BF - cyberweek season.

Some selling 4K kits .. with a 4K NVR and only 4MP cameras...

Others selling 2K kits... which have 3MP cameras .. since 2K is officially defined as 2048×1080

So, 2K != 1/2x 4K ... lol...

( 1080p = 1920x1080, so 2K is only a bit more pixels than 1080p!!! )
