I have used hikvision for many years now without any issues. Have one de5425iw.
And now on the latest ids-2cd7a46g0 and a 2df8c842ixs-aelw(t5) and with some questions about this camera!
i bought it, mount it and firmware was updated to v5.7.3 H8 version.
and it was shit!! Buy a camera expensive as…. My old de5425iw cost 700€ with no issue autotracking.
and now i bought this 1500€ and i couldnt just walk thru it and it lost me!!
and didnt se my car when it was dark outside.
Updated the firmware in this order:
V5.7.9
V5.8.0
V5.8.1
And then i think i messed up i loaded v5.8.5
And this was for ixg-elw not ixs-aelw.
The zoom goes so slow on the camera now. Zoom from 2001-2025 takes 35secs.
then i tried to update to v5.8.3 and hold my thumbs!!
No changes still goes so freking slow! And when i call a preset with long zoom, still goes to slow.
what can i do? Reset button? Downgrade?
