Hikvision 2042WD 4mm Version Firmware

I just received a DS-2CD2042WD-I-4MM from B&H, and it has firmware version 5.4.1 installed. Looking at the Hikvision website, I don't see this version being listed yet. Is it common for Hikvision cameras to ship with a firmware version that is newer than the version listed on their website?

Hikvision has its own 'way', which I never fully understood
Anyway , this firmware was (is) present somewhere, but doesn't seem having solved the issues encoutered with 5.4.0 (and moreover, starting from 5.4.0 is not possible the downgrade, 'officially')
