Hikvision 2018 Firmware on download portal

Today I found that Hikvision's Europe download portal has a changed directory structure that includes a "Product Firmware 2018" with currently only a single "Front End" subdirectory.

Seems to be a couple of updated firmwares for the R6 and G1 series and maybe more.

Interesting - it looks like they are preparing a revamp.
Lots of the older (backdoor-vulnerable) versions of firmware are no longer listed.
With the older folder structure still in place - but for how long ? DOWNLOAD PORTAL

I threw caution to the wind and updated my G1 series cams to the latest build (currently 5.5.51). There are two builds of 5.5.51 with different dates. I used the later date. No problems so far.

Interestingly, I came from 5.5.4. The update to 5.5.5 prompted me to install the new version of Webcomponents. I ignored the message and continued to update to 5.5.51 after which I was no longer prompted to update Webcomponents.

Looks like they must have rolled back Webcomponents to pre-5.5.5 version after all the reported problems with 5.5.5.
