Hik NVR Not Connecting Camera.

Hi All,

I've had one of my Hik cameras running off my NAS for the last year without any issues.

Today I received delivery of my new Hik NVR and it's failing to connect to said camera when connected directly to the NVR.

It's worth noting that the NVR is NOT connected to my network (any network), would this be the issue?

Attached are the settings from the NVR and then SADP when the camera is on my network.

Help is appreciated!

CH in the serial number was this bought as a grey import
are you getting language mismatch?

Hi - Both devices purchased via Xinray on Aliexpress.

Although, even plugging in my legitimately purchased Hikvision camera directly to the NVR brings no results? All cameras when connected directly to my switch can be found on SADP and viewed in the web browser.

Really pulling my hair out with this!

Received support from the seller which is great, didn't expect that considering I purchased from China.

Had to amend the IP address and then add to the NVR as Onvif and now I have it working, for anyone with the same issue!
