I've been lurking for a while on the forums, mainly for research while putting together a camera system for my new home. The previous owner installed a 7 camera Samsung NVR system (4000e model)...better than nothing, but frustratingly dated, not flexible, and night vision almost non-existent.
I'm switching over to Blue Iris and new PoE IP cams. I have a few of these installed so far:
