Just joined ipcamtalk.
have been looking for info for quite a while on determining a "bricked" ip cam.
I now have what appears to be a bricked chinese IP megapixel ptz hi speed mini dome - everything appears to work - i.e power connecting kicks of startup motors, IR works if I block the sensor, but cannot find an IP or talk to cam, it is 3 years old, worked fine for most of this time, then intermittent connections, looks like comms / network interface, not sure how to test at pcb level ?
Have installed another Floureon 30x which is working fine.
Would like to have a crack at the old one before it hits the bottom of a skip.
There is NO, reset button available, just a 3-link jumper at the rear end of camera, have tried all 3 permutations - no joy, opened up the main body, nothing in there that looks like a reset.
Any help or pointers would be appreciated,
