Here kitty kitty

Cool kitty, but is this really a "porch cam", looks like a "bald spot cam" :)

I've tried this mount before and the only thing it was good for was capturing packages at the front step or unless someone looks up.

Actually that capture is from a 4MP Dahua that is mounted portrait, and covers all the way out to the street. I used Davinci Resolve to zoom into the video and extract a 1080p section of the video showing just the bobcat.

Got it :)

Yiles! Hide the Yorkies!

The wife actually saw the bobcat again last evening. She was out watering and came around the corner of the house and it had just come out from behind the hedge and was on the sidewalk in front of the porch. It spotted her and took off.

It won't surprise me if we see it again. If the bobcat wants to hunt cotton tail rabbits we probably have at least a 6 month supply in our neighborhood.

Rabbits are a good source of protein, but so are cats and small dogs. :mad-new:

Hope you don't have to worry about pets. You and the Mrs might want to be a little cautious as well being the cat is hanging around the homestead.

It's no mountain lion, but those cats can ruin your day if caught of guard and startled.
