Hello All,
ALittle bit back story to what i currently have. I have a NVR8-7250 (purchased from Costco) with 8 Swann 3MP bullet cameras. 1 of the 8 cameras has died, and was able to get a actual Hikvision dome camera. Model number is DS-2CD2532F-IS. Now, both the DS-2CD2532F-IS and the Swann branded NVR says they accept ONVIF, but i cannot get it to work for the life of me.
I confirmed that the DS-2CD2532F-IS camera works with ONVIF and can connect. The default password is set to 12345abc and set the IP of the camera to static + 172.16.1.XX so it matches the rest of the cameras. Locally on the NVR, i configure the 8th Camera as ONVIF, enter admin and the password, and still cannot get any picture. Firmware for the DS-2CD2532F-IS is 5.3.
Am i missing something or doing something wrong? The Swann Branded NVR has options for either SWANN cameras or ONVIF Cameras. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
thank you again.
