Help with selection of POE IP Cams

Hi - thanks for having this forum. I am a landlord and have a night prowler and am trying to learn about this stuff fast. I need at least a 1 camera system, and have narrowed it to a POE digital NVR setup (at least I got that far right?)

I am trying to find something cost effective naturally. Costco has a Lorex system with a LRN182 DVR and 4 POE IP bullet cams for around 500.00 after rebate. Can I really do better than that for the money? if so, what should I be looking at?

Note that I will have to run an ethernet cable to my tenants wifi (with their permission).

Cost sells Lorex and Swann system. SOME Lorex and Swann systems are rebranded Hikvision and Dahua equipment which can be good stuff. Don't do Wifi...use only Cart5e cabled systems.
