Help new NVV

Good morning everyone who tried to help me, finally got round to factory resetting all 11 cams yesterday as rain had been delaying things, as per bigredfish this solved the issue and now have all cams added with green lights!!!! really appreciate the help from everyone... As all are reset should I make encoding now H265 or stick with H264? When I originally set up my system 4 years ago I had no idea what most of this meant and just wanted something recording, now I have a new NVR and all reset any other tweaks you would recommend without going too deep? cheers again

IF you have a Dahua NVR with built-in PoE switch... DO NOT follow instructions telling you to use the config tool or switch the IP of your cameras or initialize anything..! With NVR's typically with a -P designation (Built-n PoE switch - example: 4208-8P-4KS2) none of that is required and it...

Most importantly, make ALL changes to image settings on the individual camera interfaces, only use the NVR controls to set Recording and Network parameters.
