At the very beginning, I used a Reolink E1 5MP camera, later I changed it to a Reolink RLC-1224A. Currently, I have an HDW3849H-AS-PV 3.6mm, but for testing purposes, I borrowed a 3.6mm. The camera is mounted at the ceiling height of the first floor, so the distance is quite large. The T5442TM-AS is set up in the window of the adjacent room. I would like to get a reasonably clear image at least halfway across the yard. According to reviews, the T5442 is a good choice, but it seems to me that in this case, 4MP provides less detailed images than 8MP. What do you advise? Should I stick with the HDW3849, change some settings on the T5442 to get a better image, and replace what I have, or should I go for something else with a varifocal lens?
