The WD Purple is starting to give these errors and WD is sending me a replacement. I have exported my config from BI to a USB,but was wondering if I need to do anything else concerning the failing drive? This HD is the one storing all the pictures,video,etc.

If all it is is the video drive (ie Windows or BI isn't on it), then you just shut the computer down and pull out the drive and pop the new one in and initialize it as a new drive. Call it the same letter as the current and you should be good to go.
