Cool. If you remember, could you check and see under the ptz protocols what exactly it lists for Bosch please? If it lists Bosch or even bilinx that would be interesting indeed.

I will let you know once its up and running. It's actually getting installed 5 minutes from my house. I have two IP ptz's mounted on his house that I use my my own personal surveillance and he has an old analog system. It's impossible to rerun any wires since he renovated his house and he wants to be able to view and record the two IP ptz's I have mounted on his house. I was going to do SDI dvr and cameras as an encoder for an NVR, but the SDI dvr is expensive and by using the tribrid, I won't have to have two machines. Plus, the tribrid has 2 hdmi outs, vga, and tv output. It seems like a nice machine.

Tribred cost a ton though doesn't it. I have one of the dahua hybrids and I wasn't impressed.

Have you seen the tvi format that hikvision has? that looks promising

Pal251, this tribrid is cheaper than if I were to buy an 8 channel SDI dvr and 16 channel NVR. This particular job, I have siamese run in places where wire cannot be run any longer, and I have 2 IP ptz's already. We also would like to add future IP cameras. The CVI part will be recording 7 2mp CVI cameras, and the 2 IP ptz's. I'm not interested in Hikvision for my own personal jobs, so I haven't seen that new format.

Nice. How many hard drives can go in there? Max HD storage?

4 hdd's up to 16tb's Shock and you can also attach an external hdd up to 16tb's as well

The 16 channel has 16 alarm inputs, 6 relay outputs, 2 hdmi outputs, playback with search by the second, unlimited incoming bit rate, 128 users max, and 2 fans

Really like the dual HDMI outputs, would be great if they can do independent displays (cam 1-4 on 1 screen and 5-8 on the other)

I do believe they are independent and not simultaneous Milkisbad.

That would be gold for it to have different views for me. Sounds like a beast. Maybe I'll upgrade to one of those once I start getting sdi cameras for one of my properties

This DVR records analog, CVI, and IP. It does not record SDI.
