Having trouble accessing BI on remote with a windows computer already running BI locally

I finally got open vpn to work on my windows desktop. This computer however is already running a local BI server. I can log into open vpn at my remote location from this desktop but cannot find the remote BI server on the vpn. It works on my phone fine, just trying to get it on a desktop also. What am i missing?
 
Not enough here to offer help. How is your network setup? How is your VPN setup? How are you trying to access BI once VPN'd in?

I got it. I had to enable the vpn network connection on my computer as a home network and not a work network ,it then pulled it right up. I had it working with the blue iris app on my phone and ipads but couldnt get it to work on my desktop. Guess i just didn't play with it enough.
 
Good to hear. That’s more of a Windows firewall thing not a VPN from what you’ve described.
