A cloud storage center published the failure rate of the various drives they used, no WD's. Most published articles list the manufacturer as if all hard drives are built equally and come off as advertisements. So it's usually pretty hard to find up to date information that isn't vague, this article actually lists the model numbers of the drives along with annual failure rates. Ultimately the Toshiba drives had the lowest failure rates.
