I was about to buy a WD Purple off of the official WD site and noticed they had a few variations of the same model/size. The variations were 64MB vs 128MB vs 256MB cache. I checked the product spec sheet and they all appear to be CMR (briefly read that CMR is better than SMR). Is there any reason I should choose one over the other? Seems like the continuous recording would make the larger cache not as important since there won't be an influx of data at any point, just the steady stream. However, my knowledge is limited on this subject.
Also, would 6TB be overkill for 2x 4MP cameras? (Dahua 5442TM's)
