h.264/h.265 Question

Hello all,
o I just have a quick question about the whole h.264/h.265 compression technology. Does this only affect the bit rate while recording (less bandwidth and storage space), or does this also affect the playback bit rate, e.g. through a mobile device? I know I currently struggle to get a descent playback through my mobile device. I am sure that a lot of it is due to my current Internet upload bandwidth. Any suggestions on a minimum upload bandwidth as well?

flick h265+ on and then go on your mobile and watch the difference you will be surprised
on remote playback

Sounds good. I am assuming that both the camera and NVR would need to support h.265+ to benefit from that?
