new guy here looking for a hikvision source. Every dealer I contact will not sell to the general public. I'm looking for a 16 channel system. Does anyone know what the best system is or a system equal to hikvision. Thanks for the help.

Hi Cjk,

Does it have to be Hikvision?
 
No, it doesn't need to be hikvision. The only reason I know hikvision is because my neighbor owns some gas stations and that's what they have.

HI Cjk,

I've already noted a link to some of the notes we have, take a closer look at some of the Dahua cameras.

I picked up a Dahua OEM NVR and cameras thanks to the recommendation of others here. Definitely worth considering.
