My name is Josh I am from Dover, Delaware USA, I found this site by a google search after looking into Hikvision IP cameras that now has my curiosity stirring. I am looking to build my own setup so I will be having some questions to follow shortly. I hope I can get some solid information from this community and be become better informed.

Hi, and be sure to read the Wiki, in the blue bar, at the top of the page. The Cliff Notes in there are a gold mine of information. Read, study, plan, ask and take the advice given here seriously before spending money. We've all been there and done that so you can save a lot of time, money and frustration with a good plan.

Also, cameras are VERY addictive!
