I recently got my cameras setup on BI and the image looks pretty grainy, even for a 4mp camera. Are there any settings I should be looking at to get this fixed?
Hi @cwilson1996

See the DORI section of the cliff notes, I've recently updated it.

Calculate the ID distance, and got to that distance and get a image from there ( at the 100 ppf density zone ). You can hold up a sign and see how well the image capture issue.

Then reduced your distance from the camera in 1/2 and take images ..

Without knowing your settings and looking at that image, I think the bitrate is too low.

Go to H264 without the + or any other letters.
Smart Codec off
CBR not VBR
8192 bitrate minimum

And make sure you are not looking at the substream.
