Got my Hikvision Cams

I won't be installing these until the first part of July but is there any recommendations/advice I should know about before I do the actual install?

My friend who does IT work and does cam installs is doing my setup due to his experience.

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

I bought (4) english version DS-2CD2335FWD-I 3 MP Ultra-Low Light Network Turret Cameras and also this NVR.
English version DS-7608NI-K2/8P 8CH 4K NVR 2SATA with 8POE ports Embedded Plug & Play 4K NVR

set it up on the bench getting it all working then if its installed and there is a problem it can only be your crimp on the cat 6 cable back to the nvr saves a lot of time up and down ladders and you get to play with a few settings before it goes live

Adding to this, as a habit I like to document IP information (if static) and serial numbers, etc at this point. IE "Garage - 192.168.x.x - Serial# , etc"
