Hey all. I'm an American ExPat living in the New England region. We just bought a house with an IP camera setup already installed .I'm about ready to Chuck the NVR in the bin, but can hopefully salvage it somehow. I'm debating between getting a new NVR and just creating a NAS setup or something like that. Cheers, all!

You can probably save the hard drive(s) out of the NVR for starters. Also, have a look in the Wiki in the blue title bar at the top of the page. Lots of good tips and information there and you may find a dedicated PC running Blue Iris to be far superior to an NVR. There is a learning curve with BI, but that's half the fun.
