Garbage can

Someone has been messing with my garbage can if I don't bring it in "right away" on garbage day. So now I am looking for a camera recommendation to keep an eye on it (and catch the creep). I know it sounds simple but the can is about 600 feet from the house. Need decent rez so I can ID the perp. Any ideas?

Are you able to draw power near the can or will you need to zoom in 600 feet (I assume so)? Can you put a trail cam near it? That, if you can, would be the cheapest and easiest thing to do to be honest.
 
I will need to zoom.. Thought about a spycam mounted in my mailbox or the trail cam but worry the trail cam would grow legs.
 
So. You're looking for a GarbageCanCam.

Huisun Mini PTZ 10x zoomed to 10x (51mm) may well be the cam to capture the can in question.
